March 13 and 14, 2012
The Siena Center
Racine, Wisconsin
If you're a beginner, you need skills and discipline. If you've been working awhile, you know what it's like to get stuck. Consider yourself advanced? It's still easy to feel stale and ready for something new. The point is that all artists - no matter where they are on the continuum of experience - hit stumbling blocks on the way to successful creating.
In this workshop we will loosen up, experiment with unexpected materials, play, work, and write. We'll work alone, and then switch to working as a team. In the process, discover a few strategies you can use in your own studio to expand your repertoire, transform your thinking and strengthen your unique artist's voice.
