FRIEDA ANDERSON has been making and exhibiting quilts for over 10 years. She has had articles published in several magazines and her quilts are regularly exhibited in national shows. ROSALIE BAKER, a commercial artist turned quilt artist, has exhibited her award winning, realistic, whimsical quilts nationally and in galleries. WENDY BUTLER BERNS is a published, award winning quilt artist who found her passion for quilting in 1993. Since 1997, she has taught and lectured about the art of quilting at conferences, guilds and retreats across the country. Her work appears regularly in juried shows and galleries as well as in private collections nationally and internationally. COLLEEN CURRY uses Sound, Music and Art to help people relax and discover their inner selves. She started quilting 10 years ago, always with a bent for the unusual. Since 2000 she has shown her quilts in all the major local galleries, and started giving quilt workshops and lectures in 2003. Her most popular workshops are: "At least 12 New Ways to Bind a Quilt", "Fanciful Beginning Face Drawing for Quilters", and "Creative Design Techniques for an Art Quilt". LOIS JARVIS has a BFA in Textile Design and a BS ED from Northern Illinois University plus 32 years experience as a fiber artist working mostly in quilting. These qualify her to teach you any fiber or quilting technique you need to learn. She has taught quilting classes in the Madison area for years and now that the kids are gone can travel to you. PAT KROTH lives and works in the Madison, WI area. Her work has been included in many group and solo exhibits including Quilt National '01. She is continually intrigued with surface design techniques to create interesting texture. As a parent of four children, the texture of my own life can be complex. This leads to some challenging work situations as well as some surprising solutions. In her lecture, Texture Tango, Pat shares her inspirations, influences and love of texture through slides, fiber artwork, music and a bit of story telling. JUDY ZOELZER LEVINE is a fiber artist from Wisconsin who incorporates unusual fabrics in her work. She offers lectures and workshops on working with these fabrics as well as her favorite beading, machine applique and quilting techniques. ANNE LULLIE is an art quilter and teacher who exhibits her award winnng quilts at shows across the country. She enjoys using lots of vibrant color, and contemporary quilting methods. She teaches several quilting workshops , including "Colorplay", "Passion for Fusion" (designing abstract art quilt), as well as Machine quilting. CASEY PUETZ is a quilt artist and teacher who enjoys working with unique fibers and teaching creative techniques. VALLI SCHILLER is a national award winning quiltmaker who lives in Naperville, IL. Her love affair with sewing and design began at age 10 when she transformed a chenille bedspread into a distinctly peculiar angel costume. Many garments, costumes, curtains and quilts later, her passion for creating wonderful stuff out of fabric and thread continues.
